Hello,

I changed the optimization flags to -Os (optimize for size) and now it compiled. I am not sure if onewire library will work with this optimization level...

Here is entire project, and the HEX file with mappings you sent me. You can find the HEX in Debug folder in this ZIP.

Let me know how it works!

Hello, trax!I conducted a study, and that's what found. Do not work only numbers 0,2,5,9, and all other work. In the photo, which I showed these figures are lit all at once. I think there is a problem in the anode timings. With operating numbers are coincide but with no work, do not coincide. When the temperature shows no digit is not working, so I can not determine whether or not the thermometer is working. When showing the date and time does not work the figures about which I wrote in the beginning.

Hi,

I think your 74141 chip is damaged. Do you have another one to try?

If it was the timing problem, it would be present at all numbers and at all times, so I think it is the 74141 IC.

The thermometer is probably showing 25 degrees and these numbers are not working in your example :-)

Try another 74141 and let me know!

Here is HEX firmware for IN-16 nixie tube shield. Let me know how it works.

P.S. Do not forget to enable CLKO in your programmer, choose 12MHz crystal oscillator, disable CKDIV8.

I am glad it works. Post some photos of your clock here :-)

It is strange, there should be nothing new in this firmware I compiled for you. I will update the firmware on project page right now!

Great news! :-)
I don't have manual for v1, but it is 95% similar to manual of v2, which can be found here: www.elektronika.ba/misc/warm_tube_clock_menu.pdf

Hi all

after some little problems in material dispatch, finaly something it´s work....
Hoewever i cannot by my FLYPRO, USBASP,POLOLU programmers , concerning you fuse recomendations put the watch working well.
it´should be use CKOUT enabled, and it is.. it´should be use 12 Mhz crystal oscillator, and it is...but after turn on power , nothing is apeear me.
Only work when i use the folow fuse configuration(see attach).
All the watch numbers appear me right , but the led´s no show up, weither the buttons no any interation.

Can you please have the right configuration?

probaly fuse configuration problems...

Best Regards

I can't see details in your image, it is too small.

You should also disable DKDIV8 fuse (turn it OFF).

If your LEDs do not turn ON, maybe you didn't solder all pins of TLC59401 completely?

Hi again

Thank' s for your fast reply.
Yes the imagem it's too small, because photo Page requirments.
Let me explain better:
The ckdiv8,it' s turn off either.
The problem is the only way to put the clock working,is by default settings, internal oscilator 8 MHz .
And after that, turn on power,,it flashing all leds, and after 5 seconds,it show me hour- 00:00, it show me date- 01:01, it show me year- 2000, and it show me temperature- 26.6.
But i can' t menu acess, because in function, when you try press any button.
As you know you show a software programmer, who can especify the right oscillator, but in avt studio,or other you can' t,only show 8 MHz +, until 16 Mhz.
Could you please tell me if in other software have you a sucess, and how?

Best Regards

For programming I use AVR Flash from www.mikroe.com with their programmer.

If it is working with internal 8MHz clock then you are probably having problems with external crystal.
Are you sure your 12MHz crystal is OK? You also must configure your AVR for external XTAL ~12MHz during programming...

I'll confirm that...
Yes i configure, cksel3 should be enable
Do you know if somebody, have any problems using avr studio or other, not mikroe manufacture?

Hi Trax

I can confirm you , my crystal 12 Mhz is perfect, was oscilloscope analyzed...
Please can you see my attach file, and this is my "working" fuse configuration, can you please attach you screen fuse configuration?
Another question is : if nothing can doing with my "tools", can i order you a Atmega328 programmed, instead buy a Mikroe tool?

Best Regards
