Reply samom sebi..

Greets kasamiko,

This is new pcb layout made by me. I have added connectors (like jumpers on motherboard and so on) for all sensors and relays, for connection to cellphone, for power for relays and LED; on Trax's schematic there is no LED connected to pin 18 of 16f84 but on pcb is; i have added that LED. I have also added some text and protecting diodes for relays. If you are willing to check if i have accidentaly made some mistakes, please let me know.

This is made in eagle 5.0

Have you made "the thing" already? Does it work, or it is just on the paper ???

@Smješko

@kasamiko

Sure thing.. but i don't now how :) :).. If i have measured okay, dimensions of board are 9.5x8 cm.. I could compact it removing text and rotating diodes and connectors.. i will give a try later..

greets

EDIT:

here is smaller pcb.. 8x8cm..

You can mount some components radially (standing) rather than axially (lying) like resistors and diodes... :D

I wonder why i can't delete some of the parts on your layout?

It's been a while about this SMS controller. I'm using this flawlessly but now that Nokia 6210 is hard to find, I'm planning to use a SIM900D GSM Module.

Any idea if this will work?

You can try, maybe it will work without any firmware modifications!

Hi Trax!
I was bored and I had an idea! why only 4 relay switch?... if you can turn even 15!
I've added a 4to16 Decoder and voila 15 outputs!!!! :D

The only tricky Thing is, that you can not turn all Relais permanently on, it must be a "P.xxxx !" command for using all 15 Outputs.

Maybe its possible to modify code so that Strobe on HCT4514 can be switched?! maybe disable one of the sensor Inputs and turn into control Output?!

Yes, I could use one of AUX pins to latch the HCT4514.

Which HEX/phone are you using (6210 or 6310i)?
