Stavi 7805 stabilizator napona, on ti daje 5 V pri 1 A. Samo mu dovedeš napon za 3-4 V veći od izlaznog i to je to.
Kaže kondenzator zavojnici: "A jesi smotana", " Ma nabijem te"-odgovori zavojnica, a otpornik kaže "samo preko mene mrtva"

nije za sve 78xx regulatore gornja granica ista. čitaj datasheet i ne lupetaj35V je najveći napon za 78xx regulatore
evo npr. za slijedeće regulatore gornja granica ulaznog napona je:
7805 = 20V
7809 = 24V
7812 = 27V
7815 = 30V
7824 = 38V
Ove su vrijednosti uzete iz datasheeta.
naravno nije da 7805 neće raditi na 24V samo je pitanje koliko dugo, a da ga jednostavno spojiš na 35V bi ga najvjerojatnije skuril iako na njegov izlaz nije ništa spojeno.
treba neke stvari prije provjeriti a onda pisati.

Three Terminal Voltage Regulator
It is very easy to get stabilized voltage for ICs by using a three terminal voltage regulator.
The power supply voltage for a car is +12V - +14V. At this voltage, some ICs can not operate directly except for the car component ICs. In this case, a three terminal voltage regulator is necessary to get the required voltage.
The three terminal voltage regulator outputs stabilized voltage at a lower level than the higher input voltage. A voltage regulator cannot put out higher voltage than the input voltage. They are similar in appearance to a transistor.
On the left in the photograph is a 78L05. The size and form is similar to a 2SC1815 transistor.
The output voltage is +5V, and the maximum output current is about 100mA.
The maximum input voltage is +35V. (Differs by manufacturer.)
On the right is a 7805. The output voltage is +5V, and maximum output current is 500mA to 1A. (It depends on the heat sink used)
The maximum input voltage is also +35V.
There are many types with different output voltages.

Ne znam da li je neko možda počeo da proizvodi baterije napona 5V, ali konkretno za tvoj sklop vjerovatno da ćeš moći iskoristiti bateriju od 4,5V ili 3 baterije od 1,5V spojene u seriju. Naime napon ovih baterija je nešto veći od naminalnog, a vjerovatno da je konstruktor sklopa predvidio izvjesnu nestabilnost napona. Osim toga možeš pokušati sa 4 NiCd aku baterije čiji napon je 1,2V pa ćeš u seriji dobiti 4,8V.
Prema data sheet-u 7805 stabilizator Fairchild Semiconductor na izlazu (ovisno o opterećenju itd) daje napon između 4,75 i 5,25V. Koliko vidim minimalan napon na ulazu je 10V, a maksimalan 35V.

Kako najbolje iz stabilizatora 78XX izvuć struju veću od 1A?
Meni treba 3A,a sad neznam kako bih to dobio, dal je najbolje to odradit paralelnim spajanjem stabilizatora:
